In some circumstances, transactions might not process because the KSID (Key Set ID) is not set up on ACTIVE and it needs to be reconfigured. This article details out how an agency user can reconfigure the KSID:
- Download MagTek Reader Configuration app from App Store
- Open App and select Use Public Account
- Plug in iDynamo card reader
- Click on Transactions
- Select Change Keys
- Select blue Keys button
- Look for and select Magensa Key 9011880
- Billing Info warning will display, click Continue
- Pop up for Billing Info will display, type in ACTIVE
- Updating Key messaging will appear followed by a Success message
- Test a transaction in ACTIVE POS to ensure reader is working
