Specify Who Pays the Registration Fee

ACTIVE charges a registration fee for each registration. During season setup, you can choose whether your organization or your participants pay this fee. If needed, you can update this setting after setup is complete.

To change who pays the registration fee:
  1. Click User-added image at top right of page
  2. Click Financial Setting on right sidebar
  3. Scroll down to How you accept payment from participants section
  4. Locate Registration fees should be paid by radio buttons
  5. Select either option:
    • Fees should be passed on to my customers: the fee is added to the grand total before a participant submits an online payment
    • Should be absorbed by my organization: the registrant pays only tuition and add‑ons, and the fee is deducted from your organization's revenue before ACTIVE pays you
  6. Click Save
Note: Your organization will absorb the fee on any cash or check payments, as these are not handled directly by ACTIVE.
