Identical people are identified as people with the matching first name, last name, email address, and date of birth. Duplicate people with matching identifiers have been merged, along with corresponding revenue, registrations, merchandise, and engagement.
For PARTICIPANTS creating a NEW registration:
During registration flow, a participant can merge his/her account with an existing account.
- On an Active registration form, select category and price type.
- Select Continue.
- If not already logged in, log in to your active.com account.
- Select Edit personal info.
- Edit first name, last name, or date of birth to match an existing person.
- Select Save.
- On the Merge accounts prompt, select OK to approve the merge of the two accounts.
- All registrations belonging to the original two accounts are placed under the single, final account
- All statistics for the final account are re-calculated by combining the data in the original two accounts
- Merged persons cannot be split again.
