Below is a description of eCheck’s effects on the Summary and Ledger Entry Revenue reports.
- eChecks will have an effect/appear on your Revenue Report Summary and Revenue Report Columns
- Revenue Report Summary
- Until an eCheck has cleared, the revenue earned from a registration that was paid for with an eCheck will not be added to the Total Net Income, and the processing fees from the transaction will be subtracted from the revenue.
- Note: The revenue report summary will appear once you hit the update button after setting your report’s data date range
- Revenue Report
- Unlike the Revenue Report Summary, the revenue earned from a transaction paid for with an eCheck will be added to the Total Net Income in the report.
- You will also see small negative dollar amounts in the remittance column. These are the subtracted processing fees from that participant’s registration.
- Note: To verify that the negative dollar amounts are indeed processing fees and not refunds, check the Transaction type column (column L).
