    You can allow participants to make edits to their registrations as well!

    By enabling this capability on step 5, participants can log in to myevents.active.com to manage their registrations.

    The articles here provide steps for your participants to make specific registration edits.
    Participants - Invite a Pre-Paid Team Member to Join
    This article is written on the perspective of your customer, the event participant. 

    If you are registered for an endurance/race event as a Team Captain and would like to send a pre-paid invite for a team member to join, refer to the following instructions:
    1. Log into MyEvents
    2. Navigate to the proper event registration
    3. Click Invite pre-paid

    1. Insert the email addresses of the desired team members

    1. Select the Category
    2. Update First Name and Last Name on subject line. Team Name needs to be updated on the subject line and in the body of the email
    3. Copy and Paste in your Pre-paid registration URL link
    4. Click Send Email
    Note: An automatic invitation email will be sent to invitee to Accept a Prepaid Invitation

    Participants - Transfer Registration to Someone Else
    There are two parts of transferring a registration to another person. The first is the transfer. The second is accepting the transfer. These steps are written from the perspective of your customer, completing this transfer online. 

    Note: The transfer is only available if the organizer allows this action and the headline hasn't been reached for the event. If the transfer option is not allowed, we will redirect the customer to the event director

    1. Transfer registration
    1. Log into My Events web page at http://www.myevents.active.com
    2. Click Transfer registration
    3. Enter recipient email address in Email address field
    4. Enter recipient email address in Confirm email address fieldUser-added image
    5. Click Submit 
    • Note: An invitation to claim your registration has been sent to new participant. Your registration remains in your name until the new participant claims it.
    • Note: After the transfer has been completed, you'll receive an email confirmation for your record
    2. Accept registration
    1. The new registrant opens email notification of transfer
      • Note: Email subject is: Claim your registration for {event name} from {original participant} 
    2. Click Claim registration within the message
    3. Login by entering your email address
    4. Click Next
    5. Check the boxes before "I have read and agree to ACTIVE Network's Terms of Use" and "I have read and agree to ACTIVE Network's Privacy Policy".
    6. Click Next
    7. Complete registration form
    8. Click CONTINUE
    9. Enter payment details 
    • Note: If this is a new account, you will need to setup password to create this account as shows below

    j. Click COMPLETE
    Notes about transfers:
    • Note: Registrations for someone below 18 can only be viewed and transferred by the guardian who registered them. Registrations made by someone else on your behalf (if you are an adult) can be transferred by that person or by yourself 
    • Note: Registrations for those who are part of a group-registration team cannot be transferred.
    • Note: Transfers may only be completed into the same category - if the original registration was for a 5K, the new registration must also be for the 5K. If permitted by the organizer, the new participant may change event categories after the fact.
    • Note: If a participant transfers categories BEFORE attempting to transfer the registration to someone else, the process cannot be completed.
    • Note: The newest price is applied at checkout when the recipient accepts the transfer. If the event has a tiered price schedule, the current price could be higher than that for the original participant.
    • Note: The original registration fee is not refunded until the new participant accepts and completes the transfer process. ACTIVE.com processing fees and/or USAT membership fees (if applicable) are not refunded.
    • Note: Once the recipient has accepted and completed the transfer, the original registrant will be canceled and refunded. Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days. If a transfer fee is applied, it will be deducted automatically from the refund. For example, if the original registrant paid $25 and the transfer fee is $5, he/she will be refunded $20.

      Participants - Edit Registration Information
      Participants can only edit their registration information if the event director has allowed it within their event settings.
      Participants can follow the below steps to edit their registration information after logging into myevents.active.com

      1. Locate your registration
      2. Click View my registration
      3. Click Edit registration information
      4. Input changes
      5. Click Continue

      Participants - Transfer to Another Event
      Participants can only transfer to another Event within the event organization they have registered with.

      If the organization running the event is a Premium member and has allowed it within their event settings, participants can follow the below steps to transfer to a different event after logging into myevents.active.com:
      1. Locate your registration
      2. Click Change event
      3. Select the new event
      4. Select new category
      5. Click CONTINUE
      6. Verify Registration information
      7. Agree to the waiver
      8. Enter Electronic signature
      9. Click CONTINUE
      10. Click COMPLETE
      Note: The option to transfer to another event is not available in MyEvents when participants are registered with a team
      Note: If participant wants to transfer to another category within the same event, please refer to Participants - Transfer to Another Category
