When all tool bar buttons/tabs except File, Check for Updates, and Help are greyed out, follow these steps:

1. Does top-left corner say No Database Open?
a. If Yes: Continue to Step 2
b. If No: Contact Tech Support
2. Go to File > Open/New
3. Select existing database or create new database
a. To import existing: select database file and click Open
b. To create new: enter name for file (e.g. team or meet name) and click Open
4. When login screen appears, click OK without entering anything
5. Begin using database
a. Team Manager: enter System Preferences
b. Meet Manager: enter Meet Set-up information
