Elite Reader's Delta Cards usually take 1 to 2 minutes to fully boot. Once booted the
PWR light will stay solid red and the
CPU light will flash red once per second. If the lights all stay solid or get stuck and don't act fully booted there could be an issue with the
CF Card,
SAM 255,
AAA batteries, or the
Delta Card. Below are troubleshooting steps to assist in getting the
Delta Card to boot fully.
- Press Delta Card's Reset Button
- Note: Proceed to Step 2 if Elite Reader doesn't boot
- Toggle Power Switch Off
- Remove Delta Card from Elite Reader
- Reseat AAA batteries
- Place Delta Card into Elite Reader
- Toggle Power Switch On
- Note: Proceed to Step 7 if Elite Reader doesn't boot
- Remove Delta Card from Elite Reader
- Reseat CF Card
- Place Delta Card into Elite Reader
- Toggle Power Switch On
- Note: Proceed to Step 11 if Elite Reader doesn't boot
- Remove Delta Card from Elite Reader
- Reseat SAM 255
- Place Delta Card into Elite Reader
- Toggle Power Switch On
- Note: Proceed to Step 15 if Elite Reader doesn't boot
- Toggle Power Switch Off
- Remove Delta Card from Elite Reader
- Replace AAA batteries
- Place Delta Card into Elite Reader
- Toggle Power Switch On
- Note: Proceed to Step 20 if Elite Reader doesn't boot
- Remove Delta Card from Elite Reader
- Replace CF Card
- Place Delta Card into Elite Reader
- Toggle Power Switch On
- Note: Proceed to Step 24 if Elite Reader doesn't boot
- Remove Delta Card from Elite Reader
- Replace SAM 255
- Place Delta Card into Elite Reader
- Toggle Power Switch On
- Note: New Delta Card required if Elite Reader doesn't boot
