ACTIVE Timing - Dual Frequency UID Assignment

The most efficient method for assigning tags to Participants in ACTIVE Timing is to create a Tag UID file for import. This option will allow you to use the same bib assignments for multiple races whenever reusable tags are needed, thus saving time for future events. 

1. Go to Settings > Tools > Manually Generate
   • NOTE: You must ensure that your IPICO USB Registration Reader is connected to your PC
2. Click red USB status symbol
   • NOTE: The symbol will turn green when successfully connected. If you are unable to connect, please contact support directly, and we will be happy to assist.
3. Enter first Bib Number in your tag series
4. Scan the Tag associated with that Bib Number
5. Repeat this process until all desired tags have been scanned
   • NOTE: After each successive scan, the Bib Number will automatically increment by one. You may manually alter this number if needed, but there is no way to change the increment interval.
6. When done, click Export
7. Navigate to your preferred save location
8. Enter a file name (or use the default provided)
9. Click Save
