Lite Readers AB000250 and Below: Assign Lite Reader IP Address using Moxa's NPort Search Utility

Using MOXA's NPort Search Utility, a timer may set a Lite Reader's IP address on readers with serial numbers of AB000250 and below. Below are instructions to assign the IP address of a Lite Reader after installing MOXA's NPort Search Utility (see attachment).

1. On Windows desktop, click Start Menu icon
2. In Search bar, type NPort Search Utility
3. Select NPort Search Utility
4. Connect Lite Reader to computer via Ethernet cable
5. Turn on reader
6. In NPort Search Utilty, click Search
7. Under LAN1 IP Address, select reader's IP address
8. Select Assign IP
9. Click Static IP Address
10. Complete the following:
    1. IP Address
    2. Subnet Mask
11. OK
