The waitlist policy is defined at the season level. While it can be customized within individual sessions, any change made in one session will automatically apply to all sessions in the same season.
Once a season has been activated, if you add a new session with the default waitlist policy, all previously customized waitlist policies across the season will revert back to the default setting.
