Import a Recipient List

Use these steps to import email contacts using a CSV file. Only email addresses are imported; no other data from the file is pulled.
  1. Click Email tab
  2. Click New and select New email
  3. Click OK
  4. Click Add recipients list
  5. Click New list
  6. Select Imported list
  7. Click Choose file
  8. Find and select file
    • Note: Maximum file size is 10MB.
  9. Click Open to begin upload.
  10. Compare the number of email addresses in your CSV file to the number displayed
    • Note: Addresses not counted may contain errors. Correct the errors and upload the corrected version using the article: Correcting Errors in a CSV File
    • Note: Imported emails exclude any addresses previously unsubscribed from your organization’s broadcast emails. This may result in a lower imported count
  11. Enter a Name for your imported list
    • Note: To save recipients for future use, leave the Save this list for future use checkbox selected
  12. Click Select recipients
Your imported list will appear on the Recipient lists page. If any email addresses contained errors, “Import failed” will display. Correct the errors and try again using the article: Correcting Errors in a CSV File
