Add Variants to Merchandise

Variants can be added to merchandise items that come in more than one option, such as size or color, where each unique combination of choices forms a specific product variant.

Note: Variants can no longer be added to a merchandise item once it has been sold.

To add Variants:

Go to the Add-ons tab
Under Merchandise tab, click Add
Enter Item details
Click on Add Variant

Enter Variant name to specify the category of the variant

Note: The variant name refers to categories such as color, size, or material. You may add up to 3 variant names.

Enter Variant Value to define the specific choices available for that variant category

Note: Variant values represent the specific options, such as red, blue, green, or XS, S, M, L. Press either the Enter or comma (,) key after each variant value to add the entry. You can add up to 8 variant values.

Click Continue

Note: Each variant inherits its initial Price, Quantity, and SKU from the parent merchandise item as default values. The Quantity represents the overall stock and sets the initial value of the Remaining field. As merchandise variants are sold, the Number sold is incremented and the Remaining field is decremented.

Click Save
