Java(TM) Blocked and Needs Updating

Many ACTIVE Network applications utilize Java on certain screens. Because of this, it is advisable to maintain a current version of Java (8 Update 231 or later) to avoid blocked content and error messages. Below are instructions to install the newest version of Java for all browsers on your machine.

Note: Java is used in nearly all browsers and applications - for additional details visit www.java.com/en
  1. Open a web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, etc.)
  2. Visit www.java.com/en
  3. Click the Free Java Download button
  4. Click Agree and Start Free Download button
    • Note: If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, enter the password or provide confirmation
  5. On the notification bar, tap or click Run
  6. Tap or click Install
  7. Tap or click Close

If you're having problems installing or using Java, visit www.java.com/en and click Help.

If an outdated version of Java is currently installed, the following error message may be encountered (the layout of this error differs slightly depending on browser version).

Java-Blocked
