COPPA stands for the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act.
If a person registers a child under thirteen (13) years of age, the ACTIVE Network’s Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) statement will appear during the registration process. This statement is a requirement of U.S. federal law 15 U.S.C. & 6501 - 6506 (Pub. L. 105 - 277, 112 Stat. 2581 - 728, enacted enacted 1998 - 10 - 21).
