- Open Dashboard
- Connect Reader to Dashboard
- Click Reader Type
- NOTE: Lite Reader, Elite Reader, and Super Elite Reader are options
- Under InfoForm, click Change reader's settings

- NOTE: If using FinishLynx set to 255.255.255.0

- IP Address:
- Click Set
- NOTE: You will briefly see a check-mark appear in the box beside 'Set'. Once this has disappeared, you are free to proceed to the next step. If this does not clear, but instead pops up a message saying 'Timed-out', just close the message and then close the window. This is normal operation when the IP address of the reader has been changed.

- NOTE: If you changed the IP address of your reader to an entirely different IP range, you will need to modify the static IP address of your computer's network before you can reconnect to the reader using the new IP.
