Team Manager includes an Automatic Backup function designed to protect your database. By setting up a reminder period in days, the system will silently check each time you start Team Manager to see if it’s time to create a backup.
  1. Navigate to Set-up > Preferences > System Preferences > Automated Reminders.
  2. Specify the number of days for the Automatic Reminder.
Once the set period has elapsed, Team Manager will automatically back up your database when you open it.

Backups are stored in your Database directory (default: C:\TM5Data) or in the directory you defined under Directory Preferences.
  • Note: Files are named in the format: SwTM8Archive-xxxxxx-01.zip, where xxxxxx is your database name.
  • Note: Team Manager maintains up to 10 backup files, cycling through names ending in 01, 02, 03 … up to 10.

In case you accidentally lose the database or you make irreversible changes to your data, you can restore the system to the state captured in the most recent automatic backup.
