By default, reminder emails are sent to abandoned registrants for three times automatically, 4 hours, 48 hours and 72 hours after they have left registration page respectively. Below are instructions to view and change the reminder email message as well as configurations:
  • Note: Emails are still sent even if the athlete completes a registration in a separate session (such as in a different browser or cart) 
  • Note: EU/UK registrants who select the guest registration flow (without creating an account) or have NOT accepted ACTIVE Network's Terms of Use will NOT be sent abandoned cart emails.
  1. Log in to ACTIVEWorks Endurance > choose event > click Setup > proceed to Emails Sent Out (step 11)
  2. Under Abandoned cart, toggle on sending of abandoned cart reminder emails at 4 hours, 48 hours and 72 hours to enable these messages (default)
    • Note: Toggle off to disable sending reminder emails

  1. Click the edit icon next to each of the three options to view and change email content
  2. Change the following settings as necessary
    • Reply to email address
    • Email subject
    • Upload Custom header image by clicking Choose file
    • Set up Registration discount
    • Set Button color and Text color for Register button
    • Edit email message

  1. Click Save and close
  2. Check the box next to "Show an opt-out option for participants to unsubscribe abandoned cart emails." to enable the "Opt-out" (unsubscribe) option.
  3. Click Save & continue
After the abandoned cart email feature is enabled, registrants will see the following notice during registration:
