The following article describes how an ACTIVE Timing user can create a new event within their local database. Locally created events are not linked, and cannot be linked to events created online through ActiveWorks Endurance (AWE). A separate process should be used for linking AWE events to ACTIVE Timing.

    • Note: Start Race can be used to manually enter a gun time at the exact moment that the race begins. Regardless, it is still recommended that gun times are entered ahead of time.

At this point, the race has been configured for use. Participants and bibs must be added before a race can be completed. Please note that it is integral to the success of all races that the readers in use be synced with the computer time. This can be done via the Readers page, by clicking the IP address of each reader and clicking the Sync button (when available).
