- Consent: Express or implied consent is required when sending messages. Implied consent is granted for the first 3 years after the law takes effect.
- Identification: You must clearly and simply identify yourselves and anyone else on whose behalf the message is sent. CCM provides an Email marketing tool which allows an Agency to customize messaging sent to registrants and other people. CCM will automatically include a message that the email was sent from your organization in mass emails sent from the Thriva system.
- Unsubscribe Mechanism: In every message you send, you must provide a way for recipients to unsubscribe from receiving messages in the future. CCM will automatically add text to mass emails and scheduled mails with information detailing how to unsubscribe from correspondence originating from your organization.
