Many customers use external services such as Groupon or LivingSocial to offer significant discounts to participants and increase event visibility. Most of these types of services generate a large amount of unique codes that need to be added into ACTIVEWorks Endurance so that participants may receive respective discount purchased via the external service.
  • Notes:
    • We recommend using bulk upload tool when adding 20 or more discounts at once
    • Discounts can be uploaded in batches of 500
    • Exercise caution when uploading as there is no function to mass edit or delete discounts now (each discount needs to be individually edited/deleted)
  1. From the Home screen click on desired Event
  2. Click on the Tools tab on the top of the screen
  3. Click Discounts

  1. On Create bulk discounts screen, enter/apply the following:
    1. Discount Name
    2. Discount Amount and select discount by Amount,  Percentage or Net Price Amount
    3. Click Choose file, select CSV-format file with only one column (separate, unique codes on each row)
  • Notes about uploading:
    • There is no way to mass delete or edit. You must ensure the CSV files and discount settings are correct before importing
    • Codes must be between 3 and 20 characters
    • Codes may include numbers (0-9) and capitalized characters (A-Z)
    • No special characters permitted
  1. (Optional) Enter Description
  2. Set Expiration date option
    • None: No expiration date
    • Specify start and end dates
  3. Set Maximum number of uses (default is 1/left blank is unlimited)
    • Note: Should equal the number of items to be added to the cart i.e., if discount is a 2-for-1 then the max number of uses would be 2.
  4. Check boxes for categories and price types to apply discounts to
  5. (Optional) Check boxes for additional purchases to apply discounts to
  6. Click Save
    • Note: If upload successful, click OK in confirmation screen
