The most efficient method for assigning tags to Participants in ACTIVE Timing is to create a Tag UID file for import. This option will allow you to use the same bib assignments for multiple races whenever reusable tags are needed, thus saving time for future events.
- Go to Settings > Tools > Manually Generate
- NOTE: You must ensure that your IPICO USB Registration Reader is connected to your PC
- Click red USB status symbol
- NOTE: The symbol will turn green when successfully connected. If you are unable to connect, please contact support directly, and we will be happy to assist.
- Enter first Bib Number in your tag series
- Scan the Tag associated with that Bib Number
- Repeat this process until all desired tags have been scanned
- NOTE: After each successive scan, the Bib Number will automatically increment by one. You may manually alter this number if needed, but there is no way to change the increment interval.
- When done, click Export
- Navigate to your preferred save location
- Enter a file name (or use the default provided)
- Click Save
