In some instances, you may need/wish to import tag read data from a reader or readers that are not directly connected to the software. Use the following process to do this:
The ACTIVE Timing software will automatically apply tag reads to their respective participants, and score them accordingly.
- If applicable, insert the thumb drive containing your tag read data into a USB port on your computer
- NOTE: For Elite and Super-Elite users, you may also choose to download the pertinent files to your computer via the standalone IPICO Dashboard software.
- Open ACTIVE Timing
- Select your Event
- Navigate to the Dashboard screen
- In the top-right corner, click Manage > Import Tag Reads
- From the drop-down menu, select the IP address associated with the reader for which you wish to import data
- Click Import
- Locate the appropriate tag data file on your computer or removable USB thumb drive
- Select the file and click Open
The ACTIVE Timing software will automatically apply tag reads to their respective participants, and score them accordingly.
