If the autofill feature on the browser is turned on while filling out the registration form, the text fields may be auto-filled with information from your browser history. 
There was a fix done for Camps database registration form, where even if autofill of the  browser is turned on, it will not autofill the text field of the registration form. However, the fix only worked for Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.

Below are some steps on how to turn off autofill for commonly used browsers.

Note: Steps may differ depending on the version of your browser.
 
  • Internet Explorer
  1. Click on the Tools menu icon. (Gear at top right of screen.)
  2. Click on Internet Options.
  3. Select the Content tab.
  4. In the AutoComplete section click on Settings.
  5. Uncheck Forms and User Names and Passwords on Forms.
  6. Click OK in the AutoComplete Settings Window.
  7. Click OK in the Internet Options Window.
 
  • Google Chrome
  1. Click the Chrome menu icon. (Three lines at top right of screen.)
  2. Click on Settings.
  3. At the bottom of the page, click Advanced
  4. In the Passwords and Forms section, click on Autofill Settings
  5. Turn off autofill.
 
  • Mozilla Firefox
  1. Click on the Firefox menu icon. (Three lines at top right of screen.)
  2. Click on Options.
  3. Choose the Privacy icon.
  4. In the History section choose Firefox will: Use custom settings for history
  5. Uncheck Remember search and form history
  6. Click OK.
 
  • Safari
  1. Open Safari browser.
  2. Click on Safari in the program menu
  3. Select Preferences in the drop-down list
  4. Click on Autofill tab
  5. Click on the each of the check boxes next to the Autofill options to de-select.
  6. Click X or close the preferences window.
  7. Restart your browser.
 
  • Microsoft edge
  1. Click icon  on top right corner
  2. Click Settings
  3. Click Privacy, search, and services on the right menu
  4. Under Clear browsing data, click Choose what to clear every time you close the browser
  5. Disable Autofill form data (includes forms and cards)
