Create a CSV File In Excel

Information from an Excel spreadsheet can be imported into an ACTIVE Works® Endurance email recipient list. To do this, a CSV file must be created. Please use these steps:
  1. Open appropriate spreadsheet 
  2. Title all columns containing contacts’ email addresses Email
    • Note: This is necessary for ACTIVE Works® Endurance to recognize the data. Other contact information, such as name, address and phone number will not be imported
  3. Click File and choose Save as
  4. From Save as type list, select CSV (MS-DOS)
  5. Click Save 
    • Note: If the workbook contains multiple sheets, only the active sheet will be converted. Click OK to convert only the active sheet
  6. Click Yes
