Someone registered you for an event — great! To view and manage that registration online, you'll need to claim it and link it to your ACTIVE account.

  • You can only claim your own registration. Do not claim a registration that belongs to someone else, even a family member.
  • Do I have to do this? No — your confirmation email is all you need at packet pickup. Claiming is only necessary if you want to manage your registration online (edit details, transfer your spot, purchase merchandise, etc.).

Before you start

You'll need a free ACTIVE account. If you don't have one, create one at active.com. See Sign In to Your ACTIVE Account below if you need help.

  • Important: The first name, last name, and date of birth on your ACTIVE account must exactly match what was entered when you were registered. If they don't match, the claim will fail. Check your profile before continuing.

STEPS

  1. Go to myevents.active.com and sign in.
  2. Click the Claim Registration bar at the top of the page.
  3. Enter your Registration ID in the field provided.
  • Your ID starts with the letter R — for example, R-0OTJJL7Q. You'll find it in your registration confirmation email or in a claim reminder email from ACTIVE. Copy and paste it directly to avoid mixing up the letter "O" and the number "0".
  1. Tap Submit.
  2. Confirm your registration details in the pop-up (fill in any blank required fields), then tap Save.
  3. A green confirmation message means the claim was successful. Refresh the page to see your registration.

TROUBLESHOOTING

"To avoid overwriting the participant record, do not claim another person's registration."
Your account details don't match the registration. Sign out and back in to confirm you're in the right account, then check that your first name, last name, and date of birth match exactly what was used when you were registered. Update your profile if needed and try again.


"Your registration number was not found. Please contact the event director."
There's likely a typo in the ID. Double-check for the "O" vs "0" issue and try again using copy and paste.


"This registration has already been claimed."
Your registration is already linked to an ACTIVE account. If it's not showing in your current account, it may be under a different email address you've used. Try signing in with another email you may have on file.

 

Sign In to Your ACTIVE Account

To claim your registration, you'll need to be signed in to your ACTIVE account at myevents.active.com.

 

Forgot your password?

  1. On the sign-in page, click Forgot Password.
  2. Enter your email address and click Submit.
  3. Check your inbox for a reset email from ACTIVE and follow the link. If you don't see it, check your spam folder.


Don't have an account?

  1. Go to active.com and click Sign In, then Create Account.
  2. Enter your first name, last name, date of birth, email, and a password.
  3. Click Create Account and verify your email when prompted.
  • Important: Use the exact same first name, last name, and date of birth that appear on your registration confirmation. These must match or the claim will fail.
