Learn how to upgrade the Lantronix firmware on your IPICO Lite Reader.

Instructions:
  1. Ensure reader power is ON
  2. Connect Ethernet cable between reader and computer
  3. Locate and run Lantronix DeviceInstaller
    • NOTE: The setup file is located in the Lantronix folder. Be sure to install this first.
  4. In toolbar, click Options
  5. Ensure Local Area Connection (or Ethernet) is selected
  6. Click OK
  7. In toolbar, click Search
  8. From Lantronix Devices list, click Wireless > WiPort b/g > reader IP address
    • NOTE: In the Device Info window, you should see the reader's properties listed.
  9. In toolbar, click Upgrade
  10. Select Use a specific installation file
  11. Click Browse
  12. Locate Lantronix firmware (in Lantronix folder)
  13. Open
  14. Click Next
  15. After update completed, click Close
