This article explains how registration fees behave when a participant’s registration is transferred from one session to another. Fee behavior depends on whether your organization uses a per registration model or a flat rate model.

  1. For organizations on a per registration model, no additional registration fees are charged for any registration transferred from one session to another
  2. For organizations on a flat rate model, if the order value increases as a result of the transfer, the registration fee adjusts to accommodate the new order total. If the order value decreases as a result of a transfer, the registration fee remains unchanged and is non-refundable.
When transferring, the system first cancels the product fee and registration fee on the transfer-out line, then charges the product fee and registration fee on the transfer-in line.

If registration fees are Set to be passed on to the Participant, a registration fee credit is issued for the original session and a new registration fee is applied to the new session
