Chance Entry or Ballot Entry is a registration feature that allows you to collect registrations and merchandise purchases now, then automatically charge later.
Payment information is securely collected at registration, then the chance entry module can randomly pick participants according to your number of entries available or you can pre-select participants using a Custom Draw
Participants that are selected in the draw are charged the registration, status updated to Confirmed, and sent confirmation details. Participants that are not selected in the draw are sent email notice advising them they were not selected and will not be charged.
Use Chance Entry to:
► Manage high demand events, in which only a limited amount of registrants can be selected to participate and be charged.
► Capture registration details and payment info for events that want to go on sale now, but charge participants when you get to a minimum volume threshold, or confidence that event will go on as scheduled.
