Transfer Registration to Another Person

If the option is enabled in Enable Participant Self-edit options for MyEvents, participants will be allowed to transfer their registration to someone else.
  • Note: Transfer Registration to Someone Else can only be done by participants themselves after logging into MyEvents portal - myevents.active.com

If the event director needs to transfer a participant's registration to another participant in the admin interface, they may follow the steps below: 
  1. Cancel Registration Without Refund for first participant
    • Note: Make sure no refund is issued during process
  2. Create Discount Code for second participant to register without paying
    1. Log in to ACTIVE Works with Existing ACTIVE Passport Account 
    2. Click on your event
    3. Click on the Tools tab
    4. Click Discounts
    5. Click the Create button
    6. Fill in the criteria for the discount for the second participant
      • Note: Be sure to limit the maximum number of uses to "1"
