Transfer Registration to Another Person
If the option is enabled in Enable Participant Self-edit options for MyEvents, participants will be allowed to transfer their registration to someone else.
- Note: Transfer Registration to Someone Else can only be done by participants themselves after logging into MyEvents portal - myevents.active.com.
If the event director needs to transfer a participant's registration to another participant in the admin interface, they may follow the steps below:
- Cancel Registration Without Refund for first participant
- Note: Make sure no refund is issued during process
- Create Discount Code for second participant to register without paying
- Log in to ACTIVE Works with Existing ACTIVE Passport Account
- Click on your event
- Click on the Tools tab
- Click Discounts
- Click the Create button
- Fill in the criteria for the discount for the second participant
- Note: Be sure to limit the maximum number of uses to "1"
